5. Host Rules
Hosts may set reasonable vehicle-specific rules, including but not limited to:
- No smoking (default).
- No pets / pets allowed with fee.
- Mileage limits per day or per trip.
- Geographic restrictions.
- Minimum Renter age (may not be lower than Navo's platform minimums).

6. Vehicle Availability and Cancellations
Hosts are expected to honor confirmed bookings. Repeated Host cancellations may result in account suspension. Hosts must keep their availability calendar up to date. Navo reserves the right to impose cancellation penalties for Host-initiated cancellations that negatively impact Renters.
7. Host Compensation
Navo will remit earnings to Hosts via ACH deposit following trip completion, less the applicable Host platform fee. Payouts may be delayed in the event of a dispute, damage claim, or pending investigation. Navo reserves the right to withhold payouts to offset damage claims, chargebacks, or policy violations.
8. Insurance
Navo may offer a Host protection program that provides limited coverage during active rentals. Hosts should be aware:
- Host protection is not a substitute for personal auto insurance.
- Host protection may not cover all damage scenarios.
- Hosts must notify their personal insurer that their vehicle is used for peer-to-peer rental; failure to do so may void personal coverage.
- Navo is not an insurance company and does not guarantee coverage for any particular incident.
9. Damage Claims
If a Renter causes damage to your vehicle:
- Document the damage with photos before and after the trip.
- File a damage claim through the Navo app within 24 hours of the trip end.
- Obtain a repair estimate from a licensed repair facility.
- Navo will facilitate the claims process between the Host and Renter and, where applicable, through the Host protection program.
Navo does not guarantee reimbursement for damage claims. Hosts acknowledge that Navo acts as a facilitator only and that final resolution may involve third-party processes.
10. Host Taxes
Hosts are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling their tax obligations arising from rental income. Navo may issue tax forms (e.g., 1099-K) as required by law. Navo does not provide tax advice. Consult a qualified tax professional.
11. Hosting at Your Own Risk
You acknowledge that making your vehicle available for peer-to-peer rental involves inherent risks, including vehicle damage, theft, vandalism, and loss of use. You assume all such risks. Navo is a marketplace platform only and shall not be liable for any damage to your vehicle, loss of revenue, theft, or any other harm arising from your participation on the platform or from the acts or omissions of any renter. Your sole remedy for vehicle damage is through Navo's claims process and/or your own insurance.
12. Compliance with Laws
Hosts are solely responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, and ordinances applicable to peer-to-peer vehicle rentals in their jurisdiction, including any business license requirements, insurance mandates, and local rental regulations.
13. Account Suspension and Termination
Navo may suspend or terminate a Host's account for repeated cancellations, safety violations, fraudulent listings, misrepresentation, Renter complaints, or any other violation of these Terms. Navo reserves the right to remove any vehicle listing at its sole discretion.
By listing through Navo, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Host Agreement.
